The 2018 Travvy Awards proved Enterprise-Rent-a-Car is here to stay.
Enterprise took home the gold Travvy awards in both the Best Overall Car Rentals and the Best Domestic Car Rentals categories. The 2018 success followed a great showing last year, in which the company earned gold for Best Car Rentals-Overall, Best Car Rentals-Domestic, and Best Car Rentals-Fleet.
"It is always an honor to be recognized by travel industry peers. Our success has been built on exceeding the expectations of our customers," Enterprise Holdings Assistant Vice President for Travel Industry Relations Jeff Coggin said in a statement. "This recognition from travel industry experts underscores the hard work and dedication our employees invest to meet the diverse needs of our travel customers from around the world."
As for what Enterprise is working on moving forward, the company recently announced an exclusive partnership with Jaguar, which will allow customers to get behind the wheel of the highly sought-after Jaguar F-TYPE SVR.
Last year, Enterprise Holdings secured the top three spots in the annual J.D. Power 2017 North American Rental Car Satisfaction Study. The Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands finished first, second and third, respectively.
The first place finish in the study was the sixth year in a row Enterprise earned the award.
In total, the annual revenues of Enterprise Holdings and its affiliate, Enterprise Fleet Management, rank near the top of the global travel industry, ahead of many airlines and most cruise lines, hotels, tour operators and online travel agencies.
The Travvy Awards are considered the Oscars of the travel industry. It honors dozens of brands across a variety of categories, including destinations, hotels and resorts, cruise lines, tour operators and car rental brands.
