Rail Europe Adds Connected AI With Alpic Partnership

Rail Europe is partnering with Alpic, a cloud-based platform that connects companies to AI applications, to ensure European rail content remains visible to its users in AI-powered travel environments.

AI platforms can now pull rail content directly from Rail Europe’s systems, allowing potential travelers to explore journeys through conversational AI tools.

Users can then be redirected to Rail Europe’s journey guides to continue planning.

“This is not about launching a new technology for its own sake,” said Ilgün Ilgün, chief technology officer at Rail Europe. “Travel discovery is clearly moving from search to conversation."

"Our role is to make sure European rail is part of those conversations, supported by accurate, structured and trustworthy content that works for both travellers and the wider travel ecosystem," Ilgün continued.
