Sixt has now officially opened its newest location at San Francisco's Union Square. Today marks Sixt USA's seventh opening this year alone, as well as its third location in the Bay area and second in downtown San Francisco.

In 2018 alone, Sixt has moved into an upgraded facility at the Tampa International Airport, expanded its location at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, and opened new locations at New York City's Battery Park, Fort Myers International Airport, San Antonio International Airport, and the Denver International Airport. Last year, Sixt unveiled a newly-expanded offering at its flagship space in the Miami International Airport and at its Seattle-Tacoma International Airport location, launched a new location at the San Diego International Airport, and moved into its new North American corporate headquarters in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
The company has grown to over 1,000 employees, and serves more than fifty-four rental locations located in California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Washington, Texas, Connecticut, New Jersey, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona, and Massachusetts.
