Officials from Sixt Rent-A-Car announced Tuesday the company opened a location inside the new Consolidated Rental Facility (CONRAC) at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago.
The luxury car rental service now boasts more than 2,200 locations in over 105 countries and is renowned for its one-of-a-kind "Sixt Experience" contributing to its rapid growth in the United States.
In 2018, Sixt opened its first New York City location in Battery Park after debuting the company's newly-expanded flagship location in Miami last year. Sixt also opened Seattle and San Diego locations in 2017.
"Sixt saw an increase in demand in Chicago for luxury vehicles and wanted to offer a wide variety of cars to our Chicago fleet to meet the needs of travelers," Sixt USA COO Daniel Florence said in a statement. "We'll work harder than anyone else showing our customers that our unique affordable luxury rental experience is unmatched. We can't wait to serve you."
Sixt has become the fourth-largest car rental company in the United States after just seven years, employing over 1,000 workers.
The company now serves more than 50 rental locations in California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Washington, Texas, Connecticut, New Jersey, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona, New York, Colorado and Massachusetts.
