American Express Travel is reintroducing its longstanding cruise program under a new name, the American Express Cruise & Yacht Collection, with the refreshed experience set to launch online October 22.
The new identity reflects the program’s expanding portfolio of premium cruise lines, yacht brands and superyacht experiences. The collection includes 20 participating brands, ranging from traditional cruise operators to luxury yacht experiences designed to appeal to travelers who might not otherwise consider a cruise.
Participating brands include The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, which joined the program in 2024 and now operates three yachts; Orient Express Sailing Yachts, which joined in January 2026; and Aman at Sea, which joined in June 2026 ahead of the planned spring 2027 debut of its first vessel, Amangati.
The collection also includes Virgin Voyages and Explora Journeys, two newer partners offering upscale, hotel- and resort-inspired experiences at sea.
While the program is receiving a new name and identity, participating brands and card member benefits will remain unchanged.
Eligible American Express Platinum and Centurion cardholders can receive $100 to $300 in onboard credit per stateroom or suite, along with a special amenity, on eligible sailings of five nights or longer with participating brands.
Card members can also earn double membership rewards points on eligible cruise bookings, access exclusive offers through American Express Travel and receive complimentary personalized trip-planning services without booking fees. Where eligible, collection benefits can be combined with exclusive cruise offers and cruise-line loyalty benefits.
