Cruise operator CroisiEurope has acquired La Belle des Océans, the company's second expedition-style ship. The newly acquired ship will debut in 2020, with itineraries and cruise dates as-yet unannounced. The vessel will be CroisiEurope's second sea-going ship, following the company's La Belle de l'Adriatique.
Formerly known as the Silver Discoverer, the seven-deck ship accommodates 120 passengers in 60 suites, with all featuring exterior views. Nine of the staterooms offer private balconies.
Accommodations include a 409 square-foot Ocean suite equipped with a private balcony, a seating area with a sofa, and the option of a twin or a queen-sized bed. The ship also includes eight 280 square-foot Riviera suites with private balconies, seating areas with sofas and twin or queen-size beds.
La Belle des Océans's four 269 square-foot Panorama suites offer guests two large windows, seating areas, and twin or queen-size beds. The ship's 38 Horizon-1suites measure 183 square feet and offer windows, seating areas and twin or queen-size beds. Nine 183 square foot Horizon-2 suites feature two large portholes, seating areas, and twin or queen-sized beds.
All suites are equipped with private bathrooms, walk-in showers, desks, hairdryers, built-in wardrobes with safes, mini-bars, flat-screen TVs and air conditioning. Public areas include two combination bar/lounges, a restaurant, a poolside bar/restaurant and grill, a fitness center, a beauty salon with a hairdresser and spa and laundry service.
