Cruise Companies Rake in Honors at Travvy Awards

Each year the Travvys honor the best of the cruise industry.

It's hard to build a vacation that each member of the family will enjoy, but cruise lines have been toiling away, working on delivering bigger, more innovative and increasingly engaging experiences to win over the hearts and minds of all travelers.

This year, Royal Caribbean International stole the show with 10 total awards for both its cruise line and its individual ships. The company won top honors for Best Cruise Line, Overall, and Best Cruise Ship Overall, for the Anthem of the Seas.

Sister brands Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises turned in a good performance, each taking home several statuettes on Travvy night.

The Azamara Quest was honored as the Best Cruise Ship, Small. Celebrity won for Best Cruise Ship, Premium, with the Celebrity Reflection.

Both Azamara and Celebrity took home trophies for Best Cruise Line, Asia. Azamara received gold and Celebrity silver.

In the River Cruise category, AmaWaterways led the way with five wins, including for Best River Cruise Ship, Overall, for the AmaKristina. AmaWaterways also took home the award for Best River Cruise Line, Overall.
