Holland America Line has opened bookings for its 2026 Alaska cruise season, with sailings to No. 49 aboard six ships from April to September.
Travelers have lots of different options when it comes to visit The Last Frontier with Holland America Line. The company will offer round trip departures from Seattle and Vancouver, as well as one-way trips between Vancouver and Whittier.
Cruises are a week to 28 days long, with Holland America Line unveiling a new 14-day roundtrip Seattle itinerary.
“We continue to build an Alaska program that is unlike any other in the industry, that is deeply immersive, putting a spotlight on all the splendor that brings cruisers to Alaska,” says Dan Rough, vice president of revenue management for Holland America Line. "Whether it's talking to a park ranger while observing a glacier calve in Glacier Bay, joining a whale-watching tour or enjoying the freshest local fish that was just brought on board, we want our guests to return home from vacation feeling inspired."
The six Holland America Line ships sailing in Alaska in 2026 are: Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Westerdam and Zaandam.
Travelers will have the option to visit destinations like Anchorage, Juneau, Ketchikan, Kodiak, Wrangell, Sitka and Valdez in Alaska, as well as Prince Rupert and Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Scenic sailing destinations include Glacier Bay, the Grenville Channel, Bella Bella, Johnstone Strait and Seymour Narrows.
The line’s popular 28-day "Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice" voyage is back for its third season. It departs on June 7, just in time for the Summer Solstice, and ventures north above the Arctic Circle.
Travelers can also book cruisetours if they want to spend time exploring Denali National Park and the Yukon. Though 2025 cruisetours are open for booking now, the 2026 options will be made available at a later date.
Holland America Line will offer a wide array of shore excursions, from helicopter glacier tours to float trips to visits to wildlife sanctuaries.
Onboard, guests can enjoy delicious meals—including locally sourced, fresh seafood that goes from port to plate in less than 48 hours as part of the line’s Global Fresh Fish Program. Travelers can also expect guest lectures and workshops from Alaska experts.
The line will also host its "On Deck for a Cause" charitable 5K fundraising walk onboard the vessels sailing in the region. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Alaska Geographic, the nonprofit education partner of Alaska's parks, forests, refuges and conservation lands. Guests are invited to donate $25 to the cause.
