MSC Cruises is sharing new details about the outdoor experience aboard its forthcoming ship MSC World Asia.
When the ship sets sail in December 2026, it will debut a reimagined version of the Harbour, which was first introduced on sister ship MSC World America.
The space will serve as an all-day outdoor destination for families, with attractions like the Cliffhanger over-water swing ride, a ropes course, an expanded aquapark and new interactive spaces. Located within the Family Aventura district, the Harbour will have an Asian-inspired design that aligns with the theme of the ship.
MSC World Asia will also introduce two redesigned pool concepts—the outdoor Manila Bay pool and the indoor Coral Cove pool—on the Aqua Deck, part of a total of seven pools and 13 hot tubs onboard.
The Manila Bay pool is designed for guests who want to enjoy a full, active and fun day under the sun, offering a lively mix of activities from sunrise to sunset. It will feature more shade, amenities and seating, as well as new bars and dynamic entertainment throughout the day.
The Coral Cove pool, meanwhile, will be an elegant, multi-generational space with a retractable glass roof and a large-scale art installation by Elisabetta Milan in the shape of a water droplet.
Other MSC World Asia highlights include a new Play Deck, a relaxed outdoor space designed for kids of all ages and built to encourage connection and interaction within families, and an 11-deck spiral dry slide called The Tree of Life @ The Spiral.
