Cruise line Poseidon Expeditions announced new destinations, additional departures and possible savings for the 2019 and 2020 voyages.
Passengers who book their Poseidon Expeditions cruise by November 1 will be eligible for discounts of up to 15 percent on most itineraries.
Travelers will have two ships to choose from: The 114-guest Sea Spirit or the 128-guest 50 Years of Victory.
The Sea Spirit will offer new itineraries for 2019, including a 12-day voyage from the Scotland Highlands to Arctic Glaciers that will cost passengers $5,396 for a Main Deck Suite, based on a per person double rate.
The Sea Spirit will also offer a new 12-day Best of the British Isles cruise that travels to the United Kingdom, Scotland and Ireland at a cost of $5,795 per person based on double rate.
Poseidon Expeditions has expanded the departures for the Sea Spirit during 2019, including a second departure of East Greenland, round-trip voyages from Reykjavik and explorations of the Russian High Arctic. The Sea Spirit will also be traveling to Antarctica in 2019 and 2020.
As for the 50 Years of Victory, the ship will offer three prime season departures in 2019 to the North Pole. The voyages include sightseeing helicopter flights and trips to some of the most secluded locations in the world.
The per person double rates for the North Pole adventures, inclusive of an early booking discount, start at $28,495.
