Carnival Cruise Line has added three special cruises to its Carnival Journeys collection for 2019.
The additions include a 24-day trans-Pacific crossing aboard Carnival Splendor from Long Beach to Singapore. Also new, are two voyages aboard Carnival Miracle, namely a 13-day Panama Canal transit from Tampa to Long Beach and a 14-day Hawaii cruise round-trip from Long Beach.
Carnival Journeys are longer cruises that feature immersive onboard activities and cultural enrichment.
"We're delighted to expand upon our itinerary choices with these three exciting Carnival Journeys, including an unforgettable 24-day voyage trans-Pacific transit featuring our first-ever calls to spectacular ports in the Far East," said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.
The 24-day itinerary is the longest cruise in the line's history. It will be the first time Carnival calls on Guam, Vietnam, and Malaysia on a North American departure. The cruise departs Long Beach, CA, October 5 and arrives in Singapore October 30, 2019. It will include extended port calls in Maui and Honolulu before crossing the International Date Line to Guam. It then visits Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The 13-day Panama Canal transit on Carnival Miracle will depart Tampa September 29 and arrive in Long Beach October 12, 2019. The itinerary includes an overnight stay in Cartagena, Colombia before the canal transit. It then visits Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala; and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The 14-day Carnival Journeys cruise to Hawaii is a roundtrip itinerary from Long Beach from October 19 to November 2, 2019. It includes stops in Maui, Honolulu, Kona, and Hilo - along with a call at Ensenada, Mexico.
Carnival Miracle will sail a series of seven- and 14-day Mexican Riviera cruises from Long Beach beginning October 12, 2019.
