Here's the story of a lovely lady: Carol Brady is going on a cruise!
Florence Henderson, the actress who portrayed one of America's favorite TV moms on "The Brady Bunch," will participate in two Holland America Line "Dancing with the Stars: At Sea" theme cruises.
Henderson, who also competed on Season 11 of "Dancing with the Stars" on the hit ABC show, will sail on the Veendam's June 6 and June 13 cruises from Boston to Bermuda and Canada/New England. Fares begin at $699 for the June 6 cruise and $599 for the June 15 departure.
The special theme sailings also will feature television personality Carson Kressley and DWTS professional dancers Tristan MacManus and two-time Mirrorball Trophy winner Kym Johnson.
The theme cruises will feature guest performances by the dance pros dancers and celebrities, dance lessons with the ship's pro dancers, a fashion show with costumes seen on TV, and opportunities to meet the dance pros and celebrities, ask questions and take photos with them.
Holland America Line is holding dance competitions for passengers on every ship through Nov. 24. Winners of the guest competitions with the highest scores from each ship will win a free ocean-view stateroom for two on the Jan. 10 Champions Cruise on the Nieuw Amsterdam to compete for the Mirrorball Trophy and title of "Dancing with the Stars: At Sea" champion.
