Craft beers have been growing in popularity in Sin City, and gastropubs and microbreweries, burger joints and pizza parlors are all getting in on the action. While trends dictate that bottle service is still a huge draw for those looking to imbibe along the strip, the craft brew scene is getting ready to welcome its newest member. In honor of the soon-to-open Beerhaus Las Vegas, we thought we'd provide a guide to some of the best places to saddle up for a pint on and off the Strip.

Beerhaus Las Vegas

Beerhaus will open on April 4 and is primed to be a twist on the American beer hall where hop heads can find a casual place to enjoy a pint. Located in MGM's new The Park complex near the T-Mobile Arena, the new locale is gearing up to become a pre- and post-event headquarters with its main goal "to be in the business of brewing good times."

In addition to beer, Beerhaus will offer a variety of good eats and bar games, including Connect Four at every table, foosball, shuffleboard and ping-pong.

Public House

Located in the Venetian at the Canal Shoppes, Public House gives guests an upscale yet casual bar experience, offering cask ale, 24 taps and a varied wine list.

Definitely go for the beer (or the wine) and stay for the poutine. This Canadian dish of fries, duck confit, cheese curd and gravy is the ideal accompaniment to your favorite brew.

Big Dog's Draft House

Big Dog's is a microbrewery and a dining barn and will definitely give guests a more local Vegas vibe. The bar is known for its electic brews and wide range of food - such as bratwurst and Bavarian pretzels, which are as good as pulled pork tacos and pizzas. Definitely bring your appetite.

Big Dog's is also known as a Green Bay Packers hub for NFL fans during football season - so come prepared on a Sunday.

Five50

New York-style pizza in a Vegas casino? It can be done and, if you're looking for a good pie and some beers, look no further than the Aria Hotel & Casino where you will find Five50 tucked away on the main floor. James Beard Award-winning chef Shawn McClain is in charge here, and he puts his own spin on this East Coast classic.

Aces & Ales

This is your classic London-style gastropub looking to appease the craft brew connoisseur. Their list of more than 150 different bottles complements the more than 70 draft beers, which frequently rotate to ensure freshness.

Gourmet comfort food is also the name of the game here, because what would a gastropub be if it didn't also offer an extensive dining menu?

Banger Brewing

Located in Downtown Las Vegas' Freemont Street Experience, this is the area's first craft brewery. The brewery is focused on providing a local experience as well as local brews made from the heart.

You are missing out if you leave before trying the El Jeffe, a jalapeno hefeweizen infused with fresh-roasted jalapenos and Serrano peppers. There are also daily tours of the brewery.
