Atlantic City, N.J., is gearing up for a busy summer packed with a roster of events and culinary and hospitality offerings.
“Atlantic City is entering the summer season with tremendous momentum, offering visitors more reasons than ever to experience our seaside destination,” said Visit Atlantic City President and CEO Gary Musich.
“From exciting new hospitality offerings, major entertainment acts like Shakira and Rüfüs Du Sol, and America 250 celebrations, Atlantic City continues to evolve while delivering the unique experiences that keep visitors coming back year after year,” he added.
Here’s a rundown on just some of the summer offerings.
Capriccio, Resorts Casino Hotel’s Italian restaurant, unveiled a Bubbles & Brunch on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., which, for $15 with the purchase of an entrée, includes bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys.
Caesars Atlantic City introduced a new Caesars Beach Club this June, equipped with an outdoor bar boasting Atlantic Ocean views, handcrafted cocktails, DJ entertainment and more.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City will open Sitar, an Indian restaurant, on July 17, with dishes such as Dosa En Croute, Coal Fired Butter Chicken, Pastooni Lobster Masala, and more.
The Downbeach Seafood Festival is set for Sept. 19 to 20 at Ski Beach in Ventnor, featuring culinary offerings popular on the Jersey Shore, and the Atlantic City Art Foundation will host the 48 Blocks Festival, with art installations, food and stories from the destination’s 48 blocks.
On July 18, Ocean Casino Resort will unveil the Water Ice Festival at The Park at Ocean, with approximately 30 vendors from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware participating.
North Beach will host its annual fireworks extravaganza on July 10; and The Tropicana Fireworks Series will feature “crafted aerial displays lighting up the sky above the beach and Boardwalk on select Saturdays throughout the summer season,” Visit Atlantic City said.
The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is offering a Fireworks Spectacular on July 3, created by the highly regarded Fireworks by Grucci, and the Ocean Casino Resort will boast a drone show each Friday throughout July.
