This Fourth of July holiday promises to be one for the record books as tens of millions of Americans travel to celebrate the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence.

Washington, DC
The nation's capital will come alive with one of the country's most impressive fireworks displays this summer. The mesmerizing showcase will start shortly after 9 p.m., last approximately 40 minutes and can be viewed from various viewpoints, including the National Mall, Tidal Basin and West Potomac Park.

Nashville, Tennessee, is pulling out all the stops for Independence Day 2026 with its two-day "Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th" celebration taking place July 3-4.
Music City is promising the largest fireworks and drone show in Nashville’s history in honor of America250 and will complement the special riverfront showcase with five stages offering attendees nonstop live music by an all-star lineup of Nashville-based artists.

Then there's Titusville's America 250 Semiquincentennial Parade, which travels U.S. Route 1 on July 4, followed by Red, White and Boom at Sand Point Park with fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
Finally, Melbourne holds its Independence Day parade the morning of July 4 and the MelBOOM fireworks celebration at Front Street Park that evening.
Maui, Hawaii
