Cirque du Soleil has announced that its first limited-run production created specifically for Puerto Rico, LE LO LAI, will premiere at San Juan Coca-Cola Music Hall on February 12, 2027.
The new original show, designed to elevate the island as a premier tourist destination, will celebrate Puerto Rico's vibrant music, culture and traditions with the help of Cirque’s signature acrobatics, live music and immersive storytelling, with an initial run of 30 performances.
Travelers can secure tickets now starting at $35 and book ticket-and-hotel packages through Vibee.
The music for LE LO LAI has been created in collaboration with internationally renowned Puerto Rican composer and musical director Ángel "Cucco" Peña and will feature a live band performing bomba, plena, salsa and reggaeton.
The 75-minute show features a cast of 33 performers, including more than 10 Puerto Ricans, and will generate approximately 150 jobs for local technicians throughout the load-in and load-out stages, in addition to more than 50 local technical production jobs.

"LE LO LAI is an affirmation of Puerto Rico’s potential as a major destination for events and entertainment. That Cirque du Soleil has chosen our culture as inspiration to develop an original production is a testament to the richness of our talent and traditions," Federico Stubbe Jr., CEO of PRISA Group and executive producer of LE LO LAI, said in a statement. "We are proud that LE LO LAI is the first production from PRISA Presents, as it reflects our vision of creating experiences that strengthen Puerto Rico’s cultural offering, attract international audiences and showcase all that Puerto Rico has to offer to the world."
"Projects like this strengthen the visitor economy, generate activity for local businesses and the local workforce, and position the Island as a destination for international productions and events," added Puerto Rico Governor Jenniffer González-Colón.
"The arrival of LE LO LAI represents a significant opportunity to further position Puerto Rico as a premier destination for major events," stated Puerto Rico Tourism Company Executive Director Willianette Robles Cancel. "We are proud that a Cirque du Soleil production created specifically for our Island will bring our culture, traditions and talent to an international stage."
"At the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, we will continue to support initiatives that increase Puerto Rico’s global visibility while also giving our people the opportunity to enjoy world-class experiences right here at home," said Robles Cancel.
LE LO LAI will take place Fridays (8 p.m.), Saturdays (3 p.m. and 8 p.m.) and Sundays (1 p.m. and 5 p.m.).
