The Antigua and
Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA) is claiming May 2026 as
its most delicious month of the year as the month will mark the return of its
annual culinary series, Antigua and Barbuda Culinary
Month.
Culinary
Month is a monthlong celebration spotlighting local Antiguan and Barbudan
cuisine alongside an all–Caribbean-heritage lineup of acclaimed chefs from the
U.S., U.K., and Canada.
The event blends culture
with community and serious culinary star power and includes an islandwide
Restaurant Week with prix-fixe menus at $25, $50, and $75.
In addition, it features an immersive
Eat Like A Local cookshop trail, the buzzy FAB (Food, Art & Beverage) Fest,
and the region’s leading hospitality symposium, the Caribbean Food Forum.
This year’s chef lineup features James Beard winner Nina Compton, Top
Chef Season 22 winner Tristen Epps, NYT three-star chef Paul Carmichael, TV
personality Andi Oliver, Chopped Champion Claude Lewis, and a deep bench of
Caribbean culinary talent celebrating the region’s foodways through
collaborative dinners, beachside cookouts, and festival moments.
