Puerto Rico, the island’s official Destination Marketing Organization has launched a partnership with wellness app Calm marking Calm’s first-ever collaboration with a travel destination.
The transformative suite of immersive audio experiences in designed to transport listeners to the heart of Puerto
Rico through soothing soundscapes and storytelling.
Adventures in Puerto Rico anchors the partnership with a new Calm Sleep Story narrated by Lin-Manuel Miranda, available in both Spanish and English. The Emmy, GRAMMY, Tony and Pulitzer Prize Puerto Rican creator takes listeners on a peaceful journey through
lush landscapes sharing personal anecdotes along the way.
“Puerto Rico is where my roots are, where my family is, and where I go to feel grounded,” said Miranda. “Recording this Sleep Story allowed me to share the magic of the Island in a new way: through its sounds, its stories, and the quiet beauty that fills
every corner. Puerto Rico invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover a sense of wonder. I hope listeners feel that peace, and that pull to explore it for themselves.”
In celebration of the launch, Discover Puerto Rico is offering 1,700 free one-year Calm Premium memberships on its website with an additional 50 percent discount after the free memberships have been claimed through May 21, 2026.
The Calm app for Premium members includes:
