Palace Resorts' new The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun All Inclusive Golf & Spa Resort in Mexico simply knows how to separate family-friendly fun and adults-only misbehavior.

TravelPulse recently returned from a stay at this resort and found it to be a great option for all Millennials, especially young parents, couples on a honeymoon and friends on a getaway.

Here's why.

The Best Rooms

The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun has more than 1,300 rooms, all impressive in design, but varying by size. The best rooms here can be found in the Presidential Suite, the Grand Family Deluxe and the Grand Swim-Up Suite categories.

The Presidential Suite can sleep up to six guests, including children and infants. The quarters feature two adjoining rooms with private baths with showers, and one room includes a double whirlpool. Another impressive feature of this room is the outdoor terrace that provides some of the best sunset views at the hotel.

This is the best room option at the hotel for Millennial families, couples retreats and friends' getaways.

The Grand Family Deluxe is the best option for Millennial families. There is a room designed for children and another for adults.

The best amenities in the kids' room include an Xbox 360/DVD player and a selection of Xbox games and DVDs upon request, L'Oreal bath amenities for kids, kid-sized slippers and robes, and a mini-bar stocked with chocolate milkshakes, juice, soda, water and chocolates. The best features of the adult room include a private balcony and a double whirlpool.

The Grand Swim-Up Suite is one of the best rooms for Millennial honeymooners or small couples retreats.

Guests of these rooms have perhaps the quickest access to a pool of any room at the hotel simply because there is one attached to the room. The best indoor amenity here is the room's double whirlpool.

Eating and Drinking

For the best Mexican food at the hotel, guests should check out La Cantina and Cielito Lindo.

Reservations are required at the adults-only, French restaurant, Le Chateau. Elegant evening attire is also required for Le Chateau. Reservations are also required for the resorts popular, American-style steakhouse, JC Steakhouse.

Other food and beverage standouts at The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun include Jade, which provides a laid back, family atmosphere and serves up Asian cuisine; Habibi, the resort's Lebanese dinner option; Tavola, which serves up traditional Italian cuisine and Tapas & Vino, the go-to place for the best wine selection on property.

Also, Boulangerie is where to get the best coffee and espresso at the hotel and guests should be sure not to ignore the lobby bar either. Elvis, one of the many impressive lobby bartenders, makes the best Bloody Mary at the hotel.

Meet the Resort's Spa

The resort is home to a 76,875-square foot spa. The spa has 64 rooms, including 40 private single treatment rooms, 21 double treatment rooms for couples and two "Golden Suites VIP Hydrotherapy" facilities.

Entertainment

Other fun features at the hotel include an assortment of games and activities, such as bowling, and an array of different pools with no shortage of swim-up bars. In fact, five pools at the hotel include swim-up bars.

The best entertainment feature here for children is the hotel's water park that includes a selection of 10 slides, and a lazy river. The best entertainment feature at the resort for adults is Unique, the adults-only club that cranks modern beats and serves up cocktails from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

And guests looking to work out the toxins the following day will find a modern fitness center that also offers yoga, Pilates and spinning classes.

Special Offer

Guests who stay between five and eight nights at the resort will receive $1,500 in resort credit that can be used for experiences including spa treatments, rounds of golf and tours. Resort credit is also available for shorter stays.
