All visitors arriving in St. Maarten are required to
complete an Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) form.
Submitting the form is free
of charge when completed through the official government platform at www.entry.sx.
Recent reports have identified a private, third-party
website charging visitors a fee to complete or “process” the required form. The
Government of St. Maarten reiterates that there are no fees associated with
submitting the ED form through the official website.
Travelers are encouraged to exercise caution when using
search engines or clicking online advertisements, as unofficial websites may appear
in search results and present themselves as authorized service providers.
“The Government
of Sint Maarten remains committed to protecting our visitors and ensuring a
smooth arrival experience,” says May-Ling Chun, the Director of Tourism.
“We
urge all travelers to verify they are using the official website before
submitting their personal information or making any payments," Chun continued. "If you believe
you have been charged by an unofficial website, you are encouraged to contact
your bank or card provider immediately.”
