Travelers visiting Seattle this summer will be happy to learn the newly renovated Sky View Observatory and Columbia Center will begin selling online timed-tickets on June 1.
Available through the Sky View Observatory's official website, tickets can be purchased for the general public re-debut of the tallest public observatory in the Pacific Northwest, which offers 360-degree panoramic views at 902 feet.
Starting on June 28, visitors to the Seattle observatory will have a direct-access elevator that will take only 70 seconds to transport guests from the re-modeled Fourth Avenue atrium entrance to the 73rd floor.
"Upon arrival, visitors can create their own tour guide experience from the top of Seattle," Sky View Observatory general manager Jennifer Tucker said in a statement. "We bring the city of Seattle to life through interactive content, which is displayed throughout the observatory on stationary, large-screen monitors for the best possible viewing."
"We have included attractions from the Museum of Flight to the Seattle Mariners to Ride the Ducks," Tucker continued. "We are working with Seattle's premier venues and destinations to give guests an opportunity to learn about everything Seattle has to offer and plan their next steps."
Officials at the Sky View Observatory are looking for youth-focused non-profit organizations and their families who will have access to the new experience on the morning of June 28 as part of the kickoff to the re-launch weekend, June 29 through July 1.
The facility will also debut its enhanced food and beverage service June 28, which will include regional treats, craft beers, wines, and spirits.
