Museum lovers can enjoy one of the coolest museum experiences in the country with the re-launch of New York favorite A Night at the Museum: The Overnight Experience at The American Museum of Natural History.
According to TimeOut, the experience originally launched in 2006 following the hit movie “Night at the Museum,” but was paused during the pandemic. It is now finally coming back for kids aged 6-12 and their caregivers to enjoy.
“Whether it’s the thrill of encountering Tyrannosaurus rex by flashlight or the awe of sleeping beneath the massive blue whale, the experience is sure to create memories that families will treasure forever,” said Sean Decatur, the Museum’s president.
Tickets go on sale for Members at 10:30 a.m. on September 30, while general tickets are available October 7.
Kids and their caregivers can enjoy tours by flashlight of the museum, including group games, scavenger hunts and more. Kids can enjoy self-guided explorations of the first and second floor galleries, enjoy bedtime snacks and a light breakfast, karaoke, live presentations and even a bedtime story. Every kid who participates will receive a commemorative keepsake and a voucher for daytime admission.
The museum is hosting several Nights at the Museum beginning October 24 and running once a month through June 5, 2026.
