A hospitality boom has created even more favorable travel conditions for the many people who seek out the beauty of Indonesia, says a new report in Conde Nast Traveler.
Whether you are on a spiritual journey or seeking out the country's stellar surfing destinations, there's going to be more options than ever for you in 2017.
"On Bali alone, according to a report last month by consultants Horwath HTL and C9 Hotelworks, hotel occupancy was up by four percent in 2016 from the previous year, and incoming international travel was up by six percent, with the influx of an additional 4 million foreign tourists bringing the total to more than 11 million for the first time," reports Andrew Sessa in Conde Nast.

Bali will also welcome a variety of high-end accommodations in the next few months.
"More and more top-end hotels are opening to greet these guests. In January, the Japanese brand Hoshino unveiled Hoshinoya Bali in the rainforest-covered hills of inland Ubud, Bali," says Sessa.
June will see the opening of Bawah Private Island and, in the fall, the Cappella Ubud will open with 22 tented villas.
