Headed to Acapulco this summer? There's a new game in town. A mile-plus game to be exact.

XTASEA is an over-water zip line that stretches across Puerto Marquez Bay, 328 feet above the ocean. This super zip line is the largest over-water zip line in the world and is only for the brave. Those who dare will reach speeds of up to 75 miles per hour as they fly down one of four parallel lines in a Superman-style descent for what is likely to be the most thrilling minutes of their lives.

Experiencing the thrill of a lifetime is easy as 1-2-3. Daredevils can purchase tickets online in advance of their adventure (tickets are a 1,000 pesos per person).

Once arrived at the XTASEA site, one needs only to collect an ID bracelet and head over to one of the waiting SUVs that will transport participants to the departure place. (These same vehicles will be waiting on the other side to collect zip liners and return them back to the start.)

Guides are on hand to provide participants with safety equipment and show a video that offers tips to make the experience more enjoyable and safe. Other amenities that are offered include parking and valet service, an arm bag in which to store valuables, a commemorative photograph that participants can use for bragging rights, and a certificate to prove to skeptics that yes, you did fly like Superman across the sea.

Participants are also automatically enrolled in the XTASEA Squad, where they will receive access to special offers and incentives.

Safety doesn't take a backseat to fun: The zip line was constructed to meet the international quality standards. In order to take part in this death-defying adventure, participants must be at least 4 feet 3 inches tall and weigh between 99 and 299 pounds and meet several health criteria.

With an investment of $2 million, XTASEA debuted at Tiangus Touristico earlier this year. This thrilling attraction was a part of a billion-dollar "Master Plan" by Grupo Autofin, one of Mexico's most important investment groups.

The plan features 20 projects spread throughout Acapulco that included renovations to the Pierre Mundo Imperial and Princess Mundo Imperial, as well as a host of new projects including the Spa Tlalli, Turtle Dunes Golf Clubhouse, Gourmet Beach, Hotel Prince by Mundo Imperial, Hotel Marqués Boutique, an eco-amusement park called Aventura Guerrero, a new tennis stadium, and more.

All told these projects, which are expected to be completed by 2022, will generate more than 10,000 new jobs.
