Travefy, the travel industry’s most widely-adopted agency and advisor technology platform, is proud to announce a direct integration of Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection (BHTP) into the Travefy platform slated for release in late 2026. BHTP is in a select roster of travel insurance providers to be the first to integrate into Travefy, giving advisors access to BHTP travel insurance within their existing workflow.
“We’re thrilled to partner with an incredible brand like Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection to connect their insurance products with our shared customers and invest further in growing agency sales production,” said David Chait, CEO of Travefy. “This integration connects best-in-class insurance products directly with Travefy users. Travefy has a unique strength to help drive and grow insurance sales with agencies, and advisors on our platform — as a seamless part of the workflow they already run, built around the preferred relationships and contracts they’ve already established.”
The BHTP integration provides a more seamless way to request a travel insurance quote eliminating duplicate data entry and making it faster for advisors to include travel insurance in their booking process.
“Travel advisors are looking for ways to make every part of the booking experience more efficient, and our collaboration with Travefy is designed to help them to make offering travel insurance a natural part of that workflow without requiring a separate process,” said Dean Sivley, President, Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection. “By partnering with Travefy, we’re helping simplify the travel insurance experience by delivering a seamless quoting and purchase flow along with our reputation for fast, streamlined claims service where final claim decisions are always still made by people.”
Travefy plans to launch initial insurance integrations later this year.
