Trump International Beach Resort Honors Team Member and Celebrates Healthy Choices

Our team member Mika Shevit is a world-record holder for the most consecutive half-marathons…and counting!

His goal is to make it to 1,000 consecutive half-marathons and at 13.1 miles each day that will total over 13,000 miles.

To honor such an amazing achievement and goal, Trump International Beach Resort has developed a series of celebration items and activities.

First, guests can indulge and power up at breakfast and Sunday Brunch with the Mika Marathon Smoothie. Inspired by Mika's favorite smoothie, it is indulgent and power packed with bananas, peanut butter, granola, and milk, blended into an icy drink.

Whether you're a runner or not, Mika is a motivating and inspirational person! On Fridays the Resort is hosting a Q&A Session with Mika to chat about fitness, running and staying focused.

The inspiration of Mika spreads through the entire team and while not everyone is a runner, the employee team is taking on the challenge of making more healthy choices in their own lives. Each choice looks different for each person and includes decisions like taking the stairs vs the elevator, selecting a side salad instead of chips, or adding to an existing workout routine.

The team at Trump International Beach Resort is tracking each healthy choice made September through December, with the goal of matching 1,000 healthy choices with Mika’s 1,000th run on December 26, 2023.
