Hotels.com Partners with Uber to Enhance Mobile App

Hotels.com has partnered with ride-hailing service Uber to make it even easier for users to reach their hotel.
Through the new partnership, travelers with access to the Hotels.com mobile app who have booked through the online reservation platform will be able to quickly and easily request a ride to their hotel since their current location and the hotel's address are automatically saved in the Uber app.
The Uber option will appear on users' app on the first day of their scheduled hotel stay and the convenient mobile app feature is available for Android users in more than two dozen different languages.
The partnership between Hotels.com and Uber comes less than three months after the San Francisco-based ride-hailing service expanded its partnership with Hilton Worldwide. In a similar move, the partnership between Hilton and Uber allows members of the former's Hilton HHonors loyalty rewards program to request an Uber ride via the HHonors mobile app.
Prior to that, InterContinental Hotels Group announced a partnership with Uber late last year benefiting its loyalty program members.
IHG Rewards Club members can also set Ride Reminders ahead of their trip.
