London, Paris and New York seem to be the go-to places for travel romance according to recently released findings from Tinder Passport.
For the uninitiated, Tinder Passport is an innovation within Tinder that allows users to change their actual location to any city in the world.
It's something TravelPulse noted in the past and allows users to get in touch with would-be companions ahead of time in order to lock down friendship before travel.
It's essentially one avenue that enables travelers to accomplish anything from learning about an unfamiliar city and its benefits for tourists from locals in the know to establishing relationships for potential trysts while in town.
Whether friendship, romance or general knowledge, Tinder Passport is a popular way for users to unlock travel's potential.
With that said, the app released the following list, which highlights the most popular cities for the app's feature:

What we have here is a long list of some of the most popular cities in the world, teeming with locals who are undoubtedly tech savvy.
Similarly, each presumably attracts travelers of all walks of life, especially those keen on using tech to enhance their experiences.
It's no wonder, then, that these are the kinds of places that come up in the quick Tinder study. But there are some interesting items of note.
According to Tinder, Rio de Janeiro has enjoyed a surge in interest, which makes a great deal of sense considering the upcoming Summer Games. About 10 percent more users have adopted the location when using Tinder Passport.

Congratulations is also in order for a couple more locations that have seen an uptick in interest from Tinder Passport users.
According to the app, swipes are 60 percent higher for Bali, Indonesia, since last year. And Toronto's charm isn't that far off with a 44 percent increase in user swipes.
This wasn't enough for those places to make the list by Passport. As we might say to anyone striking out at the club or bar, better luck next time.
