Alexis Berlin.
Bio
Alexis Berlin spent her early career at McKinsey as an engagement manager, coaching Fortune 500 executives. In 2025, she joined Travel with Awestruck, a boutique luxury travel agency, as an advisor and an executive with a vision of bringing consulting rigor to the travel industry. As Chief Growth Officer, she leads sales, operations, and strategy across our team, all while selling over $1 million in her first six months as an advisor. She builds the systems behind the agency's growth: inside sales, an IC program, custom AI tools, and a library of proprietary assets. She also mentors other agency owners. Her goal is to raise the standard for what a travel advisor can be.
What sets Berlin apart is that she does not keep those systems to herself. Alexis mentors other agency owners, including Signature Travel Network members outside her own team, on business model design, sales strategy, and operations. Advisors who come to her stuck on flat production leave with a plan and a structure. She treats the health of the wider community as part of her own work, not a threat to it.
Berlin has also worked to elevate the profession's visibility and its thinking. She has invested heavily in AEO and AI-search strategy, positioning independent advisors to stay discoverable as travelers change how they research trips, and she shares that work rather than guarding it. She has represented North American luxury buyers at international industry events (including as one of 21 Luxury North American buyers hosted by the Australia Tourism Commission for the Australian Tourism Exchange), and she brings a writer's background, with prior bylines in national publications, to how she communicates about the industry.
She measures success beyond her sales. To Berlin, success means clearing the bar on two other tests: is the profession stronger, and are other advisors better equipped because of the work she does. By that measure, she is making a difference.
Berlin is proving that the travel advisor can be a strategist, a builder, and a teacher at once.
Berlin is 26 years old.
"To me, being named to the TravelPulse 40 Under 40 is an incredible honor and a sign that our industry is ready to celebrate a different kind of advisor," said Berlin.
"I came to travel from a corporate consulting career, and I’ve never seen advisors as just sellers of travel. The best are business owners, strategists, and true experts who build lasting value for their clients and their companies," she added. "I’m proud to be part of a class that reflects that mindset, and I’m especially grateful for an industry that’s increasingly willing to honor disruption, make room for independent advisors to be recognized, and elevate real expertise in a crowded space."

"Alexis has helped us rethink how Travel with Awestruck can grow without losing the personal service and sense of belonging that define our agency. She built our inside sales function, strengthened our independent contractor program, and created systems, training and tools that help our team work more confidently and effectively. She has an unusual ability to take something complicated and make it clear and usable for others," said Jenene Mealey, Founder and Owner, Travel with Awestruck.
"What has impressed me most is how freely she shares what she knows. She is as invested in helping a new advisor gain confidence as she is in building her own business," added Mealey. "She has also extended that support beyond our agency, helping other advisors and agency owners think more strategically about growth, leadership and the businesses they are building."
"I have been in this industry for nearly 40 years, hard to imagine, and Alexis is one of the best and brightest minds I have experienced during my career. She is exactly the type of talent our industry desperately needs. She has already taken the industry by storm, driving astonishing outcomes for anyone, let alone someone so early in their career," said Ray Snisky, Group President, ALG Vacations, Amstar DMC, and Trisept Solutions.
"Alexis sold over $1 million in her first six months as an advisor, while managing agency growth (31% total YOY agency sales increase for the 12 months since she stepped in as Chief Growth Officer vs. the prior 12-month period)," added Snisky. "Having the opportunity to get to know her, I can attest firsthand to her humility, integrity, and generosity in sharing resources with advisors across the industry because she is invested in the success of the profession, beyond her and her team."
