Royal Caribbean Group raised its full-year earnings forecast after reporting stronger-than-expected third-quarter profits, fueled by continued demand for cruise vacations in Europe and the Caribbean.
The company reported adjusted earnings of $6.57 per share, beating analysts’ expectations of $6.38. Revenue increased 9% year over year to $5.6 billion, while net income reached $1.7 billion.
Royal Caribbean Group now expects full-year 2026 adjusted earnings of $17.85 to $17.95 per share, up from its previous forecast of $17.73 to $17.87. The revised outlook reflects stronger-than-expected results, partially offset by higher fuel costs and unfavorable currency exchange rates.
Booking demand also remains strong heading into next year. Since the company’s July earnings report, booking volumes have increased in the mid-teens across major sales channels, with bookings for 2027 sailings up in the high teens.
“Our third quarter results reflect continued strong consumer demand for our vacation experiences and the accelerated momentum across our industry leading brands,” said Jason Liberty, Royal Caribbean Group chairman and chief executive officer.
The company also reaffirmed its goal of reaching approximately $20 in adjusted earnings per share in 2027, as part of its broader growth targets.
