Bio
Kayla Corbett began her career in the cruise industry in 2014 as a crew member. Seven ships and 2.5 years later, she traded her sea legs for land and began as a Business Development Manager in the Northeast, later joining the startup crew at Virgin Voyages spearheading the Charters, Incentives and Future Voyage Sales department, before joining Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings in early 2020 in MICE, and later moved to Key Accounts. In 2023, she joined Scenic Group, where she leads the Key & National Accounts team.
For the first two years of her time at Scenic Group, business grew over 70% in the Key & National Accounts, and Corbett’s worked tirelessly to introduce Scenic and Emerald to travel advisors. A passionate member of the cruise industry, Corbett believes wholeheartedly in the value of partners, travel advisors and sustainability.

“Receiving this recognition is a career accomplishment that evokes a profound sense of pride,” said Corbett. “I grew up in the cruise industry watching my mother Kelly Corbett earn BDM of the Year twice at Royal Caribbean International amongst other awards and was always in awe of her ability to do it all—she truly was outstanding in her profession, and the most incredible mom. I aspired to make her proud but quite honestly never imagined I would end up in the cruise industry, and yet twelve years later here I am, unable to imagine myself anywhere else. From the young woman just starting out working onboard, to now leading our Key & National Accounts team at Scenic Group, my career has been nothing short of non-stop excitement. I feel immensely blessed to be able to work and learn from some of the very best in the travel industry, many of whom I consider sincere friends. I have never taken for granted the experiences I’ve been able to have exploring the world with our treasured travel partners and am truly grateful for every part of my journey that has led me to this recognition.”
