Avengers Assemble: A Peek Inside Disney's New Super Hero Land

Avengers Campus will open at Disney California Adventure on July 18. The new, immersive and interactive land will allow guests to interact with their favorite superheroes.

Avengers Campus brings together earth's mightiest heroes and they are calling all recruits. Guests may encounter Spider-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Doctor Strange, Black Widow, Black Panther, the Dora Milaje, Thor, Doctor Strange, Groot and the Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America, Captain Marvel and even villains, such as the mischievous Loki.

At the Avengers Headquarters, visitors will experience live-action moments with Avengers facing off against their foes, and they can see the iconic Quinjet stealth aircraft.

Spider-Man can be seen defying gravity as he flips 60 to 65 feet in the air above the rooftop of the WEB building.

Visitors are recruited to team up with Spider-Man to help capture the Spider-Bots before they wreak havoc. New recruits will experience what it's like to have actual superhero powers as they sling webs during the interactive ride.

Step into the world of Doctor Strange at the overgrown ruins of The Sanctum. Here, visitors can study the mystic arts, discover ancient magical artifacts and unleash powerful spells.

Superheroes are going to need to fuel up in between adventures and Pym Test Kitchen is where visitors will find food and drinks of all sizes. Pym Tasting lab will quench superhero-size thirst and Terran Treats will satisfy the sweet tooth. The Shwarma Palace is another dining outpost making its home inside the Avengers Campus.

Experiment No. EE45 is the Impossible Spoonful. Pym Test Kitchen applies shrinking and growing technology to whip up tasty meals. Guests can also try Experiment No. EE10: PYM-ini. This is a panini on toasted focaccia with salami, rosemary ham, provolone, sun-dried tomato mayonnaise and arugula with marinara dipping sauce. Kids and adults alike will love the Not So Little Chicken Sandwich. This is Pym Test Kitchen Experiment No. EE90. The bun-size and crispy chicken breast don't quite match, but not to worry, the taste is just right. Adults will want to head over to the Gym Tasting Lab located outdoors, adjacent to the Pym Test Kitchen in Avengers Campus. Here, they can enjoy specialty craft beers (pictured) as well as other "experimental" beverages like the X-Periment, Molecular Meltdown, Honey Buzz and Particle Fizz.
