Summer means long nights, warm nights, epic vacations and a seemingly never-ending list of events and festivals. From music fests (everything from bluegrass and country to jazz) to quirky small-town shindigs and historical celebrations, this slideshow has it all. In addition, the country will come alive this month with a myriad of Juneteenth celebrations, Pride festivals and soirees dedicated to fruit harvests. Yes, the best June events embrace the season with gusto, celebrating the summer harvest, honoring unique aspects of American culture, or simply enjoying the great weather. No matter where you live, you'll find a fantastic June event nearby, so click on the slideshow to start filling up your summer social calendar. 

The Shoals region will come to life once again at its annual North Alabama African Heritage Festival in Tuscumbia (June 1), which will fill the town with the infectious beats of African drumming and dance, along with the rich sounds of R&B, gospel and folk storytelling.  Mark your calendars for June 7-8, because Clanton's Peach Jam is back with the usual array of food vendors, hot air balloons, rides and live music from Rhett Walker, Chris Janson and Charlie Argo. Head down south to Brewton on June 15 for the Blueberry Festival, where you can indulge in crafts, groove to live entertainment and savor the fest's legendary blueberry ice cream. Last but not least, on June 20, historic Rickwood Field in Birmingham will play host to a MLB game between the Cardinals and Giants which will pay tribute to the heritage of the Negro Leagues. 

Every second of summer is appreciated in Alaska, and the crown jewel of the season is the Midnight Sun Festival in Fairbanks (June 22). As the state's largest one-day bash, this epic street party celebrates nearly 24 hours of sunlight with food vendors, unique Alaskan gifts,  multiple stages of live music and the iconic Midnight Sun Baseball Game. Elsewhere, tune into the Sitka Music Festival (runs through June 23), where the town will come alive with the enchanting sounds of chamber music across various venues. Finally, you won't want to miss the quirky Chickenstock Music Festival in the delightfully offbeat town of Chicken, Alaska, on June 14-15.

As temperatures crank up all over the Grand Canyon State, Flagstaff stays refreshingly cool, making it the ultimate summer escape in northern Arizona. Kick-off June with the Hullabaloo Festival on June 1-2, a vibrant celebration of all things Flagstaff. Then, head to the Museum of Northern Arizona for the Heritage Festival (June 22-23) a celebration of the Zuni, Hopi and Navajo arts and culture that will feature captivating stories, mesmerizing dances and soulful songs. Meanwhile, down in Williams, the Reunion Rodeo will take place on June 15-16 (think cowboy bronc riding, calf roping, ribbon roping and much more). In Scottsdale's Old Town, June Days will fill the month with a host of fun events that range from art exhibits and wine experiences to live music and art walks. 

Kick off your June in Hot Springs at the wonderfully eccentric World Championship Running of the Tubs (June 1), where bathtubs race down the iconic Bathhouse Row in a spectacle that's as zany as it sounds. Pride arrives early in Eureka Springs, as the weekend of June 6-9 will see a host of fun events. Over in Little Rock, don’t miss the 15th Annual Mosaic Templars Cultural Museum's Juneteenth celebration on June 15. It’s hands down the city’s best, featuring a 5K Walk/Run, an impressive lineup of vendors and top-tier entertainment. 

Sonoma County is a sensational place in June as the bucolic region will have a full roster of fun things to do. The month starts with the 39th annual Sonoma County Pride Celebration (June 1-3) which spans three days of inclusive events and activities. Also in Sonoma County, the Country Summer Music Festival (June 14-16) celebrates its 10th anniversary with sets from Old Dominion, Little Big Town and others while the Healdsburg Jazz Festival (June 15-23) will showcase great sounds in remarkable settings. Elsewhere in the Golden State, Graffiti Summer will celebrate the classic film American Graffiti with classic car parades and concerts in Modesto, the Artichoke Festival returns to Monterey County on June 8-9 and the San Francisco Jazz Festival is back on June 5-16 with a stacked lineup of jazz masters.

Fruita is back at it again with its wacky Mike the Headless Chicken Festival on June 1. Yep, you heard that right—a whole shindig dedicated to a local bird who made headlines in the 1940s for surviving without a head. Alternatively, make your way to Telluride for the annual Balloon Festival through June 2 where the sky fills with vibrant hot air balloons. Music lovers will want to mark their calendars for June 20-23 when Telluride's annual Bluegrass Festival takes over the town, featuring acts like Madison Cunningham, Charley Crockett, The Infamous Stringdusters, Sam Bush Band, Lyle Lovett and His Large Band plus many more. Last but not least, don't miss the 101st Greeley Stampede starting June 26, (runs through early July) featuring the usual array of Western flair and top-tier entertainment.

Kick-off June in Norwalk at the "Docktails & Oysters" event on June 8, where you will be able to indulge in the freshest seafood and sip on tropical drinks while soaking up the coastal vibes. Next, head to Essex for the 2nd Annual Connecticut Sea Music Festival from June 7-10, where maritime melodies will fill the air. Cap off your month at the Mystic River Jam Festival on June 21-12, where you will be able to groove to live rock, reggae, blues and country tunes along the scenic riverside.

Wilmington is where the action’s at this month, with the iconic St. Anthony's Italian Festival celebrating its 50th anniversary on June 9-16 with its usual combination of great events and tasty food and the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival taking place from June 19-22. Over in Rehoboth Beach, June 14 marks the kickoff of the beloved summer concert series at the historic Rehoboth Beach Bandstand, a true summer staple in Delaware.

Start your summer off right in Panama City with the Gulf Coast Jam, a three-day country music blowout that will run through June 2 and feature artists like Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson and dozens more. Then, make for Jacksonville and the city's famed Juneteenth Celebration (June 15), which will be hosted by the Jax Melanin Marke. Later in the month, the Central Florida Fairgrounds will host Funk Fest (June 14-15), featuring none other than Erykah Badu, KP The Great, Lil Jon and more. Meanwhile, down in the Keys, Key West Pride will drape the island in rainbow colors from June 5-9, while Monticello will hold its sweet Watermelon Festival on June 14-15. 

Kick off June with a juicy celebration at the world-renowned Peach Festival in Fort Valley on June 1 and Byron on June 8. At either location, you'll be able to indulge in all things peachy, from record-breaking peach cobblers to live music. Elsewhere, head to the Chattahoochee Nature Center on June 1-2 for the Flying Colors Butterfly Festival, where you can immerse yourself in the magic of butterflies. Then, make sure you're in ATL for the Juneteenth Atlanta Parade & Music Festival from June 21-23. This great event is the state's official Juneteenth party and promises free concerts and a black history parade among many other great events, making it a can't-miss event each summer.

Escape to Maui’s stunning Kapalua Resort from June 6-9 for the 42nd annual Kapalua Wine & Food Festival, a true paradise for food and wine lovers. In Honolulu, don’t miss the 107th King Kamehameha Celebration Floral Parade on June 8. This colorful parade pays tribute to one of the most legendary Hawaiian monarchs and is part of a weekend full of festivities dedicated to King Kamehameha across the islands. The procession culminates in a cultural fair at Kapiolani Park, featuring locally made gifts, captivating hula performances and mouth-watering food. Also in Honolulu, each weekend in June will see the 50th State Fair take place at Aloha Stadium, a fun annual event that will once again feature carnival rides, mouthwatering food, live entertainment and all sorts of fair diversions.

Head to the quaint town of Emmett for the 89th Annual Cherry Festival from June 12-15, where you can celebrate their beloved local fruit with delicious treats and fun events. Over in Boise, June 19 kicks off Alive After Five, a free summer concert series in the heart of downtown. Towards the end of the month, make your way to Filer for the Hwy 30 Music Festival from June 19-22. This lively event brings rock, red dirt, Americana and country music to this charming mountain town. Wrap up your month in Malad, celebrating Welsh heritage at the Malad Valley Welsh Festival from June 28-30, featuring traditional Welsh games, poetry readings and fantastic food.

You'll have a good time all over the Land of Lincoln this month, but nowhere does summer quite like Chicago. Start the month at the Lincoln Park Greek Festival (runs through June 2), a celebration of feta, gyros, and vibrant singing and dancing. Or, enjoy the soulful sounds of the Blues in Millennium Park during the world's largest free Blues festival (runs through June 2). Classical music enthusiasts will want to mark their calendars for June 12, the start of the Grant Park Music Festival, a cherished summer tradition in Chicago. Meanwhile, hip hop fans should gear up for the Summer Smash Hip Hop Festival from June 14-16, which will feature performances by Cactus Jack, Playboi Carti, Chief Keef and many more. 

Barbecue lovers will want to make their way to Fort Wayne from June 13-16 for the mouthwatering 27th annual BBQ Ribfest, which will feature great food and sensational tunes. In Indianapolis, why not immerse yourself in Native American art and culture at the Eiteljorg Museum's Indian Market and Festival on June 22-23 and then enjoy the excitement of the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming, which will see swimmers compete to represent the USA at the Summer Olympics in Paris. 

Stop and smell the roses at the 66th annual State Center Rose Festival (June 13-16), where everything's coming up roses in more ways than one with floral displays, entertainment, parades and plenty of food & drink. Cap off your month in style at the 27th annual Des Moines Arts Festival (June 28-30), a celebration of creativity, culture and community. From talented artists to delectable food and a star-studded entertainment lineup featuring acts like Luke Fox & the Mangled Roots, Some Friends, Soultru and many more.  

Kickstart your June with a dose of All-American fun at Old Shawnee Days (June 6-9) in Shawnee. Then, set your sights on Wichita, where Riverfest—the state's largest outdoor event—returns through June 8. Get ready for a whirlwind of excitement, including fireworks, classic car shows, a carnival, fun runs and top-notch entertainment featuring stars like Kool & The Gang, C&C Music Factory, Digital Underground, Hunter Hayes and more. If you're craving a taste of Scandinavia, head to Lindsborg on June 15 for their traditional Swedish Midsummer’s Festival, where the town honors its Scandinavian heritage in style.

Danville is the spot to be through June 1 as the Great American Brass Band Festival returns, showcasing some of the nation's top brass bands. Meanwhile, over in Louisville, the Ali Festival (June 1-9) honors the enduring legacy of Muhammad Ali through a series of events spanning history, fitness and art at the Muhammad Ali Center. Elsewhere, the Shakespeare Festival returns to Louisville's Central Park this month with captivating performances of Romeo and Juliet and The Comedy of Errors while SoulFeast Week (June 14-23) in Lexington will bring to the forefront the excellent Black restaurants, chefs and farmers of Central Kentucky. 

Summer kicks off in style in Krotz Springs with the Sportsmen's Heritage Festival (runs through June 1), a lively celebration of the local woodlands and wetlands with live music, mouthwatering food, a cornhole tournament and wild game cookoff that's second to none. Head over to Ruston on June 1 for the Louisiana Peach Festival, where you can indulge in a plethora of peachy treats while enjoying art and live music that'll keep you swaying all day long. In the heart of New Orleans, immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of southwest Louisiana at the Cajun-Zydeco Festival on June 1.  And mark your calendars for June 27-29, because those are the dates of the Beauregard Watermelon Festival, a sweet salute to summer.

Portland is the hotspot this June, starting with a toast to love and diversity at Pride Portland! on June 15 and a celebration of musical mastery of the Bach Virtuosi Festival from June 19-25. Later in the month, the legendary Windjammer Days Festival takes center stage in Boothbay Harbor (June 23-29), once again featuring cod races, boat parades, fireworks and an abundance of fresh seafood that’ll make your mouth water. Back in Portland, don't miss the Greek Festival (June 20-22), where you can indulge in delicious Greek cuisine and vibrant cultural festivities. 

Get ready to unleash your inner creativity at Annapolis Arts Week on June 1-7, where the city’s creative side comes alive with performances, exhibits, workshops and much more. Celebrate Juneteenth in Baltimore as The AFRAM Juneteenth Festival is back (June 22-23) and better than ever. Honoring the city's rich African-American heritage, the festival will feature a lineup of activities, vendors and stellar live music from Busta Rhymes, Big Daddy Kane, October London, Alex Isley and more.

Summer will get off to a stellar start in the Bay State as the 45th Annual Boston Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival returns on June 9, bringing you mouthwatering food, mesmerizing Asian cultural performances and thrilling races on the Charles River. For those with a sweet tooth, head to the beloved Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl (June 4-6), an all-you-can-eat ice cream extravaganza that will take place in Boston. Film buffs won't want to miss the Nantucket Film Festival from June 19-24, showcasing some of the finest in filmmaking in the land. Finally, don't forget the Green River Festival from June 21-23 at the Franklin County Fairgrounds, featuring performances by Cake, Fleet Foxes, Gregory Alan Isakov and many more.

Michiganders eagerly await summer all year, and June is when the fun truly kicks off. Early in the month, don't miss the 75th Annual Lilac Festival on Mackinac Island from June 7-16, a fragrant celebration of beautiful blooms. Over in Frankenmuth, it's all about lederhosen and German entertainment at the Bavarian Festival from June 6-9. As the month rolls on, highlights include Harborfest in South Haven (June 14-15), where you can soak up summer with live music, delicious food and thrilling dragon boat races. Finally, the Original Lavender Festival at the Eastern Michigan Fairgrounds (June 28-30), once again promising a sensory delight with all things lavender. 

Get ready for a star-studded weekend in Grand Rapids from June 20-23 as the Judy Garland Festival returns to celebrate its most famous native daughter with three days of nonstop fun and festivities. Over in Lake City, brace yourself for thrills and spills at Water Ski Days (June 27-30), featuring adrenaline-pumping water ski shows, live concerts and festive parades. Then, make your way to Akeley on the last weekend of the month for the 75th Annual Paul Bunyan Days (June 28-30), a lively bash honoring the legendary lumberjack hero. 

Get ready for some serious summer fun at the South Mississippi Summer Fair from June 6-16, as it takes over Biloxi’s Mississippi Coast Coliseum. Expect family-friendly rides, thrilling competitions and fantastic live music. In Tupelo, it's all about The King at the annual Elvis Festival (June 5-9), where fans can celebrate the town's most famous native son with electrifying tribute acts, a 5K run and the quirky “Fling with the King” disc golf tournament. Later in the month, Vicksburg will hold its annual Juneteenth Heritage Festival on June 15 with the theme of "Celebrating Freedom".

Start things out in KC, where the city will celebrate Italian style at the Festa Italiana through June 2, where you can dive into rich Italian heritage with delicious food, great music and vibrant culture. Then, make for West Plains for its 41st annual Bluegrass Festival from June 6-8, featuring top-notch acts from all over the region and beyond.  On the other side of Missouri, the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival will fill Forest Park with fun during a free production of As You Like It, running through June 23. 

Virginia City will celebrate its Irish heritage during the Irish Festival on June 7-8.  Expect classic small-town vibes combined with Gaelic touches. In Bozeman, the Art Walks 2023 season starts on June 14, transforming Main Street into a vibrant hub where musicians perform and galleries open their doors to art enthusiasts. Meanwhile, Pioneer Power Days returns to Central Montana on June 8, celebrating all things 1900s Montana with a nostalgic twist. 

June in The Cornhusker State means one thing: The College World Series. S head to Omaha between June 14-24 to witness teams from across the country battle it out for the NCAA Men’s Baseball title. Just be sure to join the fans downtown for an unbeatable blend of competition and celebration. Elsewhere, North Platte will once again host its annual NEBRASKAland Days Rodeo & Concert Festival (June 12-22), featuring a raft of rodeo events and concert performances from the likes of Parker McCollum and Jelly Roll. And don’t miss Norfolk’s Great American Comedy Festival (June 13-15), where the town honors its legendary native son, Johnny Carson, with a weekend filled with laughter and top-notch comedy acts.

Nevada kicks off summer with a bang, embracing its Basque heritage at the Winnemucca Basque Festival (runs through June 2). Expect a lively celebration of Basque traditions, including unique sports, authentic food, and plenty of beverages. In Las Vegas, the 10th Annual Nevada Women’s Film Festival runs from June 19-23, spotlighting films by and about women from across the globe. Meanwhile, The Strip heats up with epic pool parties and high-profile performances from Zedd, Christina Aguilera, Adele, Bruno Mars, Garth Brooks and many more. Reno is also buzzing this June with the Reno River Festival from June 7-9 and the Reno Rodeo from June 20-29. 

The picturesque lakeside town of Laconia is gearing up to host the 101st Annual Motorcycle Week from June 8-16, widely celebrated as the world’s oldest motorcycle rally. Expect a week packed with concerts, flat track events, motorcycle demos, organized rides and plenty of festival fun for riders and summer enthusiasts alike. After the roar of the engines, cruise over to Hampton Beach for the Sand Sculpting Classic from June 20-22, where you can marvel at incredible sand art creations. Those are the same dates for the 50th annual Market Days Festival in Concord, a lively street party brimming with food booths, shopping stalls and great live music. 

Jersey cranks up the summer vibes come June, and the Garden State is packed with can't-miss events in 2024. For starters, why not sample craft beer and hot sauce at the Hop Sauce Fest in Long Beach Island on June 15 or get inked and party on the beach at the Tattoo Fest in Asbury Park on June 21-23? The Shore will also be the place to be for the Barefoot Country Music Festival (June 20-23) in Wildwood, featuring big names like Keith Urban, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan and scores more. Then, don't miss the State Fair Meadowlands in East Rutherford, starting on June 20 and running well into July. Expect over two weeks of live music, thrilling carnival rides and tantalizing treats. 

Head to Red River for the Vino in the Valley: Art & Wine Festival from June 14-16, where you’ll indulge in top-notch local art, wine and food. Feel the passion at the 37th Annual Festival Flamenco in Albuquerque, running from June 21-19, with mesmerizing flamenco performances. Then, saddle up and head to Santa Fe for the 75th Annual Rodeo de Santa Fe (June 19-22), offering thrilling rodeo action and classic cowboy charm.

The Big Apple will be buzzing all summer long, and June is packed with can't-miss events. Dive into the Tribeca Film Festival (June 5-16) for some cinematic magic, then groove at the SummerStage concert series with Andra Day (June 1), Kes (June 8) and Kim Gordon (June 13) among others. For a splash of seaside fun, don't miss the 42nd Annual Mermaid Parade at Coney Island on June 22. Upstate, indulge in the Taste of Syracuse on June 7-8, and vibe to the beats at Ithaca Reggae Fest on June 21-22. 

Summer in the Tar Heel State is packed with epic events you won’t want to miss like the 38th Annual Carolina Beach Music Festival (June 1) returns to Carolina Beach, bringing live performances of the region’s unique "beach music" sound right to the sand. In Boone, the High Country Jazz Festival (June 7-9) will feature A-list artists playing incredible tunes. Meanwhile, the Blueberry Festival takes over Burgaw on June 14-15, and the 42nd Annual Rogallo Kite Festival will fill the skies above Nags Head on those same dates. 

Kick off summer in Fargo with the locally loved Happy Harry's Ribfest (June 5-8) at the Fargodome, which will once again feature plenty of lip-smacking barbecue in addition to music from Eve 6, Chayce Beckham, Steven Adlerr and Blackhawk. Then, make your way to Bismarck on June 13 for the 13th Annual Downtowners Art & Wine Walk to enjoy wonderful works of art while you sip great wine. 

Troy will start summer with a bang at their annual Strawberry Festival (June 1-2), featuring over 100 arts, crafts and food vendors and the state capital will once again hold its Columbus Arts Festival on June 7-9. Cap off June on Put-in-Bay for the annual Pyrate Fest (June 28-20), where you can embrace your inner buccaneer with rum-laced libations and real cannon fire, or at the Garrettsville Summerfest (June 28-20), which is one of the largest summer festivals in northeast Ohio.

Durant is the place to be early this June as the beloved Magnolia Festival runs through June 1, featuring carnival rides, fair food, shopping booths and fireworks. Over in Norman, the 41st Annual Jazz in June (June 13-15) will showcase accomplished names in the jazz game. Meanwhile, Bartlesville will host the 40th Annual OKM Music Festival from June 7-9, promising a diverse lineup and unforgettable performances. 

June is typically the peak of Portland’s famed Rose Festival and this year is no exception to the rule. Running through June 18, some of the best events at this year’s festival include the Starlight Parade (June 1), Junior Parade (June 5) Grand Floral Parade (June 8) and City Fair rides & amusements (through June 11) in addition to the 8 Seconds Juneteenth Rodeo on June 16. Elsewhere, Astoria will celebrate Midsummer the Scandinavian way at its Scandinavian Midsummer Festival (June 21-23) while the town of Tigard sees the 40th Annual Festival of Balloons take to the sky on June 21-23.

Start your month in Ohiopyle Borough, which will be hosting Spirit of the River: Ohiopyle Wine And Arts Festival on June 1 with arts and crafts vendors, live music and plenty of great food & drink. Ohiopyle only has a few year-round residents (but welcomes 1.5 million visitors per year) and the event serves as a fundraiser for the town. Elsewhere, Pittsburgh will once again host its Three Rivers Arts Festival through June 10, bringing artwork and artistic performances to the city, and the Laurel Festival returns to Brookville on June 8-15 (expect everything from powerlifting to art displays). Last but not least, the Chinese Lantern Festival kicks off at Philadelphia’s Franklin Square on June 20. 

The coast comes alive each summer in Rhode Island as sailboats and other sea vessels take to the Atlantic, but the state is full of fun things to do on dry land as well. Three examples are the Newport International Polo Series which kick off on June 1 with a contest between the USA and Pakistan, the 28th Annual Newport Flower Show (June 21-23) and Newport Pride (June 28-30).

The remarkable Spoleto Performing Arts Festival will run through June 9 in Charleston, featuring opera, ballet, theater and live music. The Carolina Country Music Festival comes back to Myrtle Beach on June 6-9 with A-list artists like Morgan Wallen, Carrie Underwood, Lady A, Megan Moroney and many more. Elsewhere, Columbia will host the 8th Annual South Carolina Juneteenth Freedom Festival on June 15, a celebration that will include food trucks carnival rides, a parade and live music.

Start your summer off by strolling back in time at the Fort Sisseton Historical Festival (runs through June 2), which will once again recreate a military camp so visitors can get a taste of what Frontier life would have been like back in the day. Then, head to Rush No More Resort & Campground near Sturgis for three days of great tunes and midsummer fun at the 43rd Annual Black Hills Bluegrass Festival (June 28-30).

The 51st CMA Festival (June 6-9) will bring A-list country artists to Nashville with dozens of shows across multiple venues in town, with artists like Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, Thomas Rhett, Jelly Rolly, Hardy and scores more. Also in Nashville, Freedom Fest (June 15-16) will celebrate Juneteenth with food trucks, live music and entertaining games. Elsewhere, Bonnaroo returns to Manchester on June 13-16 with big names like Post Malone, Pretty Lights, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fred Again and many more.  

Kerrville kicks off June with its 52nd Annual Folk Festival (runs through June 9), an event that will feature a lineup of folk artists. Meanwhile, Austin gets its small screen fix with the ATX Television Festival (runs through June 2), boasting a film festival vibe dedicated to TV. Rodeo enthusiasts can saddle up and head to Pecos for the West of the Pecos Rodeo (June 26-29), touted as the world's oldest rodeo. 

They'll be grooving and swaying in Salt Lake City at the 8th Annual Utah Blues Festival, which makes its return on June 14-15 promising the biggest blues bash in the state. Meanwhile, over in American Fork, Fork Fest (June 7-8) will be jam-packed with homegrown talent, featuring Utah artists and Utah artists alone. Lastly, don't miss the cultural extravaganza that is the Utah Arts Festival, back in Salt Lake City from June 28-30. With a vibrant mix of poetry, art, music and dance, it's an event that truly showcases the creative spirit of the state. 

Burlington will be grooving once again as the iconic Discover Jazz Festival returns, celebrating its 41st edition on June 5-9. But that's just the start of the fun in Burlington, as the city will also host the tantalizing Wine & Food Festival (June 22), promising a feast for the senses. And up in Enosburg Falls, the beloved Vermont Dairy Festival makes its triumphant return through June 2, offering a dairy-filled celebration of local heritage. 

Get ready to set sail for a weekend of maritime magic at Norfolk Harborfest, the nation's biggest free maritime celebration. Taking place on June 7-9, you'll be able to soak in the sights of majestic tall ships, savor delectable eats and enjoy live music from the likes of Robert Randolph Band, Virginia Coalition, Easton Corbin and more. Also early in the month, Colonial Beach will come alive with the Potomac River Festival (June 7-9), offering a charming waterfront experience and later in June, the scenic vistas of Mount Solon will echo with the soulful tunes of the Red Wing Roots Music Festival (June 21-23). 

Seattle is gearing up for an epic celebration this month with a series of Pride events culminating in the much-awaited Pride Parade on June 30. Elsewhere, head to the iconic Gorge for the electrifying Beyond Wonderland Festival on June 22-23, where top-notch DJs like Alison Wonderland, Marshmello and SVDDEN DEATH will keep the beats pumping all night long. Back in Seattle, the Fremont Fair (June 22-23) promises to light up the streets with summer solstice vibes, featuring a vibrant parade and a lineup of fun-filled events.

Start your summer off right by heading to the Mountain Music Festival (runs through Jun 1) at Ace Adventure Resort, which will feature live tunes from Beats Antique, Big Something, Monophonics and more. Elsewhere, The Renaissance Festival (June 8-30, weekends only) brings its historically themed revelry back to Lewisburg and Charles Town will play host to WV Fest (a leading heritage and arts gathering) on June 15. 

Mark your calendars for June 7-9 because Fond du Lac will be kicking off summer with a bang at Walleye Weekend, a legendary festival that provides a jam-packed weekend of family-friendly fun. Highlights include everything from fishing events, amusements and delicious food stalls to live music and softball tournaments. Elsewhere, PrideFest Milwaukee will take place on June 6-8 and The Mural & Busker Festival returns to downtown Green Bay on June 15-16. And if you're a cheese lover, head to Ellsworth on June 21-22 for the annual Cheese Curd Festival, a party that showcases mouthwatering cheese curd dishes and live entertainment. 

Head to Cheyenne for the annual Hell on Wheels Rodeo and Chuck Wagon Dinner Series, which will take place three times this month (June 7,21 and 28). Elsewhere, The Woodchoppers Jamboree & Rodeo will take place in Encampment (June 15-16), an event that celebrates the timber and ranching of the region through rollicking rodeos and woodchopping contests. That same weekend sees the small town of Chugwater hold its 37th Annual Chili Cook-Off on June 15.
