The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has released its latest member-exclusive Industry Brief, examining the new European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) for visa-exempt travelers visiting most of Europe.
Available to ASTA members, the analysis breaks down how ETIAS will work, who it applies to and what advisors need to know ahead of implementation so they can help their clients travel with confidence.
Additionally, ASTA recently hosted a member webinar on ETIAS that can be viewed on-demand through ASTA TV.
"Travel requirements are becoming more digital, more complex and more important to understand before a client ever leaves home. ETIAS is one of the most significant examples of this shift, and travel advisors have a critical role to play in helping travelers navigate these changes with confidence," ASTA President and CEO Zane Kerby said in a statement.
"This Industry Brief and our member webinar give advisors the timely information they need to prepare their clients and demonstrate the value of expert travel guidance," he added.
