The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) will celebrate another Global Travel Advisor Day by honoring the industry's unsung heroes and awarding some exciting prizes during a special Facebook Live event this spring.
ASTA and its official sponsor, Sandals Resorts, will host a live celebration on the organization's Facebook page on Wednesday, May 6, at 2 p.m. ET.
The live event will feature "inspiring speakers and exciting prize giveaways" for a few lucky attendees, ASTA said.
Travel advisors, ASTA partners, and industry supporters are encouraged to RSVP for the Facebook Live event ASAP and stay tuned for additional details.
"Global Travel Advisor Day is a moment to celebrate the professionals who make travel better for their clients every day. Travel advisors are trusted advocates, expert planners and problem-solvers who help travelers make the most of one of life’s most precious resources: time," ASTA President and CEO Zane Kerby said in a statement.
ASTA also announced this week that it is expanding its Mentoring Program aimed at supporting travel advisors
