WHY IT RATES: Travel agents have another small-ship cruise option to sell to clients with the addition of Voyages to Antiquity to the ASTA.-Donald Wood, Breaking News Senior Writer.
Small-ship cruise line Voyages to Antiquity is pleased to announce that they have joined ASTA, the American Society of Travel Advisors, effective immediately.
"ASTA is an industry leader that represents a commitment to partnership and a standard of excellence within the travel community, and we are thrilled to be a part of this organization," said Michelle Daniels, Global Head of Commercial for Voyages to Antiquity.
VTA plans to connect with local ASTA chapters across the US, beginning with Head of Sales and Development Denise Wilson attending the ASTA DFW quarterly meeting on October 16.
"I look forward to meeting local Dallas-Forth Worth ASTA members at this event and showcasing the unique, enriching cruises offered by Voyages to Antiquity," said Wilson. "VTA is eager to partner with ASTA members nationwide, and we encourage members to email [email protected] to learn more about how we can work together moving forward."
This partnership continues the recent expansion of VTA's sales efforts in the US market.
"VTA is committed to supporting the US travel trade," said Wilson. "Over the past few months, we have reconnected with many past partners, like ASTA, and have rolled out a new webinar series. We also have additional US sales tools launching very soon, so it's a great time to partner with VTA."
