Air New Zealand Launches Travel Sweepstakes for Hobbiton Tour

In honor of International Hobbit Day on September 22, Air New Zealand, in partnership with the iconic Hobbiton Movie Set has launched a sweepstakes inviting fans and guests to step directly into Middle-earth.

Lord of the Rings fans, Tolkien enthusiasts and anyone who’s ever dreamed of setting foot in the Shire can enter the contest on the airline’s website from September 22 through October 6, 2025, for a chance to win round-trip tickets on Air New Zealand for two in premium economy to Aukland and attend a Hobbiton Movie Set tour. One winner will be selected from the U.S. and the other from Canada. The U.S. sweepstakes excludes residents of Rhode Island, New York and Florida.

The ultimate fan pilgrimage from North America includes exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of the Shire with access to hidden corners few visitors ever see.
