Alaska Airlines is flying its largest summer schedule yet this year, offering new nonstop routes and international destinations to serve a booming summer travel season.
The airline has launched nonstop service between New York’s JFK and Anchorage, San Diego and Anchorage, Portland and Nashville and Atlanta and Anchorage. Internationally, new flights include Toronto, Guatemala City and the Bahamas.
Its hubs are offering more flights this summer, too: San Diego will offer 23 percent more flights, while Los Angeles will offer 33 percent more! Additionally, travelers heading to Mexico will be able to visit destinations like Cancun, Guadalajara, Los Cabos, Loreto, Manzanillo, Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta and Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo.
Additionally, the airline will be moving to San Francisco International Airport’s Harvey Milk Terminal 1 later in June, and will open a new lounge in the terminal in July.
Alaska Airlines is also bringing back hot main cabin and premium cabin meals available for pre-order on flights 1,100 miles or longer this summer, offering more dining options for long-haul travelers.
