CLEAR has opened a new location for travelers to enroll in or renew their TSA PreCheck membership at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
The tech company, which was recently confirmed as a partner of the trusted traveler program, now has 13 TSA PreCheck enrollment locations across the country and plans to launch additional locations and extended hours of operation for enrollment and renewals throughout the year.
TSA PreCheck members benefit from an expedited screening process during which they can keep on their shoes, belts and light jackets and keep electronics and 3-1-1 compliant liquids inside of their carry-on bags. The vast majority of members make it through the security checkpoint in under 10 minutes.
"TSA PreCheck with enrollment by CLEAR provides a fast and efficient airport experience," CLEAR CEO Caryn Seidman-Becker said in a statement. "This is a win-win for U.S. travelers who will have access to more enrollment locations, expanded hours and other benefits."
