Fliers traveling in Delta One business class in 2026 will find that the premium experience begins even before security screening, thanks to Delta Air Lines’ expansion of a popular airport perk.

The Atlanta-based carrier has expanded premium Delta One check-in areas to all of its eight hub airports in the U.S.

Inside the exclusive areas, travelers will find space to check in, drop their bags, and relax, as well as amenities such as personalized assistance from Delta’s Premium Service Ambassadors, snacks, and refreshments.

The spaces also feature “premium design and high-touch service,” according to the airline, along with comfortable seating, an expedited check-in process, and a quiet atmosphere in order to offer a sense of calm before continuing on to the security checkpoint.

“Delta One Check-In sets the tone for each one of our Delta One customers to begin experiencing their elevated journey from the moment they arrive at the airport,” said Greg Forbes, Delta’s managing director of airport experience. “It builds on the efficiency and consistency with a welcoming, calm environment that reflects Delta’s signature care and hospitality.”

The new premium check-in spaces are now available at airports in every region of the U.S., including Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Detroit (DTW), Los Angeles (LAX), Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP), New York-JFK (JFK), Salt Lake City (SLC), and Seattle (SEA).

Delta One passengers flying through New York JFK and LAX have the added benefit of a private Delta One security screening area that leads directly to each airports’ Delta One lounge. Boston and Seattle’s airports also offer Delta One Lounges, though not connected to a private screening area, and the airline has plans to add a Delta One lounge to its remaining four hub airports in the near future.

Here’s how to access each of the eight luxe check-in areas:

  • ATL – International Terminal, inside Door 2
  • BOS – Terminal E, level 2 departures, inside Door E205
  • DTW – McNamara Terminal, departures level, enter Door 4; Delta One sliding doors left of TSA and CLEAR
  • JFK – Terminal 4, departures level, Door B, steps from curb
  • LAX – Terminal 3, lower arrivals level near pillars 3F and 3G
  • MSP – across road from terminal entrance, accessible via “Flex Lane” for departures, Door 8
  • SEA – Main Terminal, ground floor near departures drop‑off, Door 13
  • SLC – Main Terminal, level 1 / arrivals, enter Door L2; adjacent to TSA screening

The new spaces opened on December 19 and are accessible to all same-day departing Delta One ticketed passengers, passengers flying business class on select Delta airline partners, and Delta 360 Members.

The expanded premium check-in areas were first announced by Delta CEO Ed Bastian on the company’s earnings call in October 2025. The Delta One check-in areas are part of a larger strategy at Delta to capture growing demand for premium products, which the airline said was up 9% year-over-year as of the third quarter of 2025.
