Delta Air Lines is making Europe more accessible than ever in 2027 with the addition of two new nonstop routes from the U.S.
The Atlanta-based carrier plans to add four-times-weekly nonstop service between Boston and Venice, Italy starting May 7, 2027, with flights operating through October 29, 2027.
One month later, beginning June 8, 2027, Delta will launch three-times-weekly nonstop service between Detroit and Athens, Greece. That service will operate through October 28, 2027.
The new international routes join Delta's recently announced daily service from Austin to Paris, which is scheduled to start March 27, 2027.
"Customers continue to seek more flexibility, convenience and choice when traveling to Europe, whether they are planning a spring escape, a summer vacation or a fall getaway," Delta’s Vice President of International Network Planning Jeff Arinder said in a statement.
"By adding new European destinations from Detroit and Boston, establishing Austin as a new gateway to Europe and extending service on several popular routes, we're giving customers more choice, greater flexibility and more opportunities to travel when and how they want," added Arinder.
Delta will also bring back popular seasonal service from Minneapolis-St. Paul and Detroit to Rome in early March, followed by Seattle-Rome in April.
Other notable flights available in 2027 will include New York-JFK to Catania, Porto, Prague and Copenhagen and flights linking Boston and Seattle with Barcelona and Atlanta with Edinburgh.
