Indonesian divers recovered six more bodies from the Java Sea on Thursday, according to the Associated Press.
Retrieved from the waters surrounding the sunken fuselage of AirAsia Flight 8501, which crashed last month, Thursday's recovered bodies bring the total count to 59.
The flight was carrying 162 passengers en route to Singapore from Surabaya, Indonesia when it disappeared from radar back on Dec. 28.
Officials believe that the remainder of the bodies are located within the main fuselage. Investigators are currently analyzing the data from the plane's cockpit voice recorder and its flight data recorder.
National Transportation Safety Committee head Tatang Kurniadi ruled out sabotage earlier this week, while Transport Minister Ignasius Jonan told Parliament that radar data showed the plane was climbing at an abnormally high rate, which could have led to an aerodynamic stall.
However, a preliminary report on the accident isn't expected to be submitted to the International Civil Aviation Organization until next week.
Meanwhile, the search for more bodies and the investigation into what caused the crash continue, with officials pointing out that it could take up to a year for complete analysis on what happened.
