One airline has set out to take the stress out of flying and relax cranky passengers.
According to News.com.au, British low-cost carrier Monarch Airlines is trialing "mood food" boxes on select flights from U.K. airports this summer.
The unique concept is being rolled out in collaboration with Oxford University food psychologist professor Charles Spence and aims to help passengers unwind from takeoff to landing.

The new menu is part of Monarch's Year of Nice campaign, which was inspired by recent incidents in the sky, including the high profile April incident involving David Dao and United Airlines.
Menu items are packed with select ingredients designed to boost happiness, relaxation and other positive moods.
Passengers are provided a special "immunity boosting" echinacea and licorice ice cream prior to takeoff, followed by antioxidant-rich green tea with lavender mochi rice cakes. Later, passengers are treated to herbal tea with chamomile, fennel seed and kelp as well as a umami seaweed biscuit.
"Reduced air pressure, dry cabin air and engine noise all inhibit taste perception, but umami is the only one of the basic tastes that manage to cut through these barriers, which is why so many passengers order a tomato juice or Bloody Mary on board," Spence told News.com.au.
"Using umami tastes alongside our other flavor combinations will be comforting and satisfying for passengers."
