The 'Jetman' was at it again, pushing boundaries with another dangerous daredevil-type stunt - and thrilling us all with the spectacular video footage.
The Jetman is Yves Rossy who, along with his protégé Vince Reffet, strapped on his carbon-fiber wings and specially made jet engines last year and soared over the Dubai skyline.
They apparently enjoyed it so much that they did it again on Tuesday, and this time they flew in formation with an Emirates Airbus A380, the largest commercial aircraft in the world.
"We will be mosquitos flying with an eagle or a condor," Rossy said before the flight.
Here is the gorgeous footage from the two men flying next to the Emirates A380. It was shot by a film crew that remained in a helicopter about 1,000 feet above the plane.
Now, this wasn't spur of the moment. The daredevils called it a carefully choreographed aerial showcase, conducted over the Palm Jumeirah and Dubai skyline. It took three months to prepare and train for what happened on Tuesday.
Here's how they set it up.
This isn't the first time Rossy done this sort of stunt. In 2012 he strapped on the wings and the engine and flew over the city of Rio de Janiero, with its iconic Copacabana Beach and Christ The Redeemer statue.
Here is the condensed footage from the trip around Rio.
