Amtrak Announces New Northeast Regional Menu

Amtrak passengers traveling on the Northeast Regional (NER) corridor will now have the chance to try a refreshed onboard café menu while traveling to their destination.

Rolled out on May 13, 2026, with a goal of keeping the onboard experience fresh, modern and aligning with passenger's evolving tastes, the breakfast menu now includes the addition of a warm sticky bun alongside a variety of flavored coffee syrups. Lunch and dinner offerings include Chicken Salad on Pretzel Sliders, Buffalo Wrap and a Curried Chicken Wrap along with its current top-selling favorite, the Turkey Havarti Sandwich.

New quick bite snacks and beverage offerings include:

• Poppi Prebiotic Soda (Strawberry Lemon)
• Nerds Gummy Clusters
• Barebells Protein Bar
• La Colombe Vanilla Draft Latte
• Butter Cake, a longtime fan favorite already popular on Amtrak’s Long-Distance service
