Ready to discover more of America at a lower price? National
rail carrier Amtrak
has just announced a limited-time rail pass flash sale to help travelers see
more of the country.
From now until Thursday, January 25, 2024, Amtrak is
offering customers $50 off the purchase of a USA Rail Pass. The pass, now
available for $449, is valid for 10 rides with a selection of over 500
destinations across 30 days of travel – each segment costing less than $45.
“The USA Rail Pass is perfect for those craving adventure
and provides a convenient way to travel from town to town or across the
country,” said Amtrak Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer
Eliot Hamlisch. “This sale gives riders the opportunity to save big while
making it easier to discover
a hidden gem, revisit favorite spots or head home to reconnect with loved
ones.”
To take advantage of this promotion, travelers need to:
- Purchase the USA Rail Pass within the sale
window and build their travel itinerary.
- Travel with the pass within 120 days of purchase
and within 30 days after travel of the first segment. The pass is valid for 10 segments
with no blackout dates.
- Use the Amtrak app to access tickets, check
train status and get boarding information.
USA Rail Pass is available for travel in Coach and features
wide, reclining seats with a big picture window, plenty of legroom, and no
middle seat. Amtrak Guest Rewards members earn two points per dollar spent on
each USA Rail Pass following travel on the first segment.
