Amtrak
has announced a new ‘Retrain Travel’ campaign encouraging consumers to reimagine
their approach to travel and avoid the stress of flying or driving to a
destination.
The campaign showcases the spacious, comfortable seats, and
other unique Amtrak
amenities and features that make travel enjoyable again such as the ability
to get up and move around, extra legroom and no middle seats. The ad campaign
uses a flipbook technique that mimics a moving train to depict a range of
beautiful and dynamic Amtrak experiences.
“Whether it’s to save time, stay productive, or benefit from
convenience and flexibility, the best way to travel is on an Amtrak train,”
said Amtrak Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Eliot
Hamlisch.
He added, “We’re enhancing the customer experience in
countless new ways, while in parallel continuing to offer the amenities every
traveler deserves, making ‘Retrain Travel’ a commitment to our guests for an
unforgettable journey on America’s Railroad.”
Amtrak is also making weekday travel throughout the Northeast
even more affordable with its Northeast Fall Flash Sale, offering customers up
to 25 percent off regular-priced fares on select routes.
For a limited time, now through October 5, 2024, travelers can
book discounted fares on Acela Business Class and Coach Class on most trains
stopping at popular Northeast cities, including Boston, New Haven, New York
City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and more, for travel on
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays between October 7 and December 18, 2024.
“With our Northeast Fall Flash Sale, guests can experience
the convenience of Amtrak at a great value,” said Hamlisch. “With these
discounts, it’s a perfect reason for travelers to escape for a fall getaway,
see breathtaking views of vibrant fall foliage, or snap up tickets for holiday

The offer allows travelers to explore vibrant cities,
historical sites and popular destinations throughout the Northeast while autumn
foliage is at its peak.
Sample fares in coach start as low as $16 one-way for Coach Class
and $62 for Acela Business Class.
