Travelers looking to save some money on fall travel will be
happy to learn about Amtrak’s three-day Northeast September Sale.
Rail travelers looking to take a train to cities between Boston
and Washington, D.C. can save up to 30 percent off regularly priced coach fares
when booking tickets through Friday, September 5.
The Northeast September Sale is for travel between Monday,
September 8 and Tuesday, September 30.

of this part of the country,” Amtrak Executive Vice President and Chief
Commercial Officer Eliot Hamlisch said.
“We’re excited to welcome both new and returning guests
onboard to travel more affordably and with the comfort and convenience that
makes Amtrak so enjoyable,” Hamlisch continued.
To save even more money, travelers can join the Amtrak Guest
Rewards program. Members can join the free loyalty program immediately upon
enrollment, earning points toward Amtrak travel and other redemption options.
Members earn points on every dollar spent on Amtrak travel,
plus bonuses for Business Class travel and Acela First Class travel. The sale
is valid for travel on Northeast Regional service only, availability is limited
and blackout dates apply.
