As a result of the backlash against the National Rifle Association following the Parkland School Shooting, Enterprise Holdings announced Thursday it will end a discount program for NRA members.
The car rental company announced Thursday that all three of its brands, Enterprise, Alamo and National, will stop offering the NRA member discount starting on March 26.
Social media accounts for all of the brands under the Enterprise Holdings umbrella responded to questions and criticisms about the decision by echoing the decision.
Thank you for contacting us! All three of our brands have ended the discount for NRA members. This change will be effective March 26. Thank you again for reaching out. Kind regards, Michael

The car rental brands join Nebraska-based First National Bank of Omaha in its decision to stop producing credit cards for the NRA.
Technology security company Symantec, which owns the Norton and LifeLock brands, also announced it has discontinued its discount program for NRA members.
