For travelers heading to the West Coast, the Napa Valley Wine Train announced a new experience for adults, dubbed the Tequila Train.
As part of a partnership with Casa Dragones and a great way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, the Tequila Train will debut May 5 and will run three hours along the beautiful fields surrounding Napa Valley.
Passengers on the train will be treated to four gourmet courses, signature Casa Dragones Tequila cocktails and live Flamenco guitar music from Trio Solea. The Tequila Train will make two additional trips in 2018, including on the Day of the Dead in October and National Tequila Day in July.
“We’re excited for the launch of this year’s extraordinary journeys and events to offer an unforgettable experience featuring world-class transportation, gourmet meals, live music, unique winemakers and new tequila partners, while taking in the natural beauty of the Napa Valley,” Napa Valley Wine Train CEO Scott Goldie said in a statement. “We hope to encourage the local community to be thankful for their magnificent surroundings and have visitors from all over the world embark on a journey that marries Napa’s love of food, exquisite tastings and music.”
In addition to the Tequila Train, the Napa Valley Wine Train will offer Blue Note Express Music & Dinner Trains scheduled for Thursday nights starting May 3. The first ride will feature world-renowned saxophonist Kenny G, the Wine Train Quartet, sparkling wine and beautiful views.
The officials representing the Napa Valley Wine Train also announced the lineup for the Meet the Maker Private Reserve Dinner series, including Inglenook (April 21), Ackerman Heritage House (May 18), V. Sattui (May 19), Grgich Hills Winery (July 21), Raymond Vineyards (August 18), Laird Vineyards (October 13) and more.
